Does Anyone Know Of A Natural Remedy To Cure Bacterial Vaginosis? Plus, Does Bacterial Vaginosis Affect Natural Vaginal Wetness?

I have had BV for a few months now. I’ve been to the doctor but they haven’t helped at all. Does anyone know of a cure or a remedy to treat the bad fishy smell and discharge? Also, I no longer have natural vaginal wetness…why? Can I get it back?

As you might already know, there are millions of women in our society today who suffer from recurrent bacterial vaginosis; and if you look around on the net, you will find thousands of questions just like the one above, asked by women who have this infection and want to treat it.The above question was asked to us by one of our chronic BV patient, and I wanted to answer it here so it may help other women who are in the same situation. In this short article I will give you some effective natural remedies to cure your bacterial vaginosis and then also provide links to some more advanced internet recourses from where you can find help, tips and recommendations for completely getting rid of your BV no matter how chronic it is.

I’m not surprised the doctors didn’t help you with your BV. The standard antibiotic treatment often just makes it worse in the long run because doctors seem to forget their Immunology 101 classes that pointed out that there was good bacteria that held the bad stuff at bay (as the antibiotics kill all of it, both good and bad bacteria). I would recommend Probiotics to help treat this occurrence and prevent future outbreaks. Yogurt and Kefir have Probiotics in them, but nowhere near enough to make a fast impact on Bacterial Vaginosis that a good Probiotic supplement (one with 30+ billion viable organisms from several strains) can.

In addition to Probiotics, Caprylic Acid and Grapefruit Seed Extract also help to fight the issue directly, so those three together are a very good combination to fight BV. Most of the cases I’ve heard of that used regimens like this showed an impact within just a few days (where they noticed some benefits) and were often almost completely gone within a month or so, but some more extreme cases took longer.

As a side note about the vaginal wetness… are you on birth control? I’ve heard of a few people who have had (seemingly very rare) side effects from certain birth controls that made their vaginas extra dry, but most drug websites points out that there are quite a few of the birth controls that give sexual side effects including lack of desire (which can minimize or prevent that normal lubrication that would come with arousal) and vaginal discharge.

If that doesn’t explain it, I’d advise you talk to your doctor about the dryness and see what they can suggest to find out what’s causing it as there are many causes. If it just started happening recently, it may be the infection, but if it’s been happening for a while, it could be one of several things.

I would also want to suggest that you try out this very great bacterial vaginosis cure guide which helped me a lot when I was struggling with my recurrent BV. The guide I am talking about is called: Bacterial Vaginosis Freedom written by Elena Peterson. I have recommended this guide to so many friends, family members and loved ones who had problems with recurrent BV, and most of them totally cured their condition just by following the recommendations in this guide. I will advise any woman who is struggling with persistent, chronic and recurrent BV to get a copy of the Bacterial Vaginosis Freedom guide and follow the recommendations in it.
