#1: You can chew crystallized ginger  or take it as a ginger root capsule. Cut and grate some ginger root and add some hot water to it while drinking it as you would a cup of tea.

#2: Suck on one drop of peppermint oil placed on a sugar cube. Another way to do this is by adding both to a cup of tea.
